“La Méthode Traditionnelle”
Using this process the characteristic fine bubbles and taste that are associated with premium sparkling wine are achieved.
In brief - Sugar and yeast is added to the base wine, which is then filled in to bottles and temporarily closed with crown caps and left on the lees for a minimum of three years. Then after tasting, riddling and disgorging the bottles are finally corked and wired and allowed to age on the cork for further 3 months or more.
The Croffta sparkling wine is then ready to drink. |
